The visibility index / Field notes
Measure the blade. Read the fabric.
Two different selections: a mechanical attachment at the arm, and a surface that touches the glass.

Start with the vehicle, not the photo
Check make, model, model year, body style and front or rear position. Driver and passenger blades may differ. Measure the old wiping edge in inches or millimeters and cross-check the vehicle manual or application list; a previous owner may have installed the wrong size.
Length is only half the fit
Compare the actual connector: our front J-hook choices specify a 9 × 3 mm hook; the specialty articulated blade uses a 6 mm side pin; the compact rear uses a 6 mm snap mount. A top-lock or push-button arm is not a J-hook. Do not assume an adapter is included. If the connector cannot be confirmed, ask before ordering.
Front, rear and clearance
A rear blade is not a shorter interchangeable front blade. Check the rear-arm mount and the full sweep for trim or spoiler clearance. For a front pair, check each side independently. Never force a connector or extend the blade beyond the vehicle-specified sweep.
Choose the support
An open frame exposes the pressure links; a beam has a covered continuous spine; a winter boot covers moving joints. The long side-pin articulated blade serves a separate compatible arm application. No construction fits every vehicle, and a winter cover does not remove ice.
Dry first, finish second
Use waffle texture to remove water. A smooth or fine suede-like cloth suits the final dry polish. The two-sided cloth separates a lifting face from a shorter finish; an edgeless cloth works around already-clean glass edges. Use minimal cleaner approved for your glass and tint.
Care and replacement
Rinse cloths free of grit and wash separately at 30°C / 86°F without softener or bleach. Air dry. Clean rubber edges with water; persistent streaking, splits or loss of contact mean inspect and replace as needed. Do not scrape ice with a wiper.
FAQ: Can I buy by length alone?
No. Connector, arm dimensions, position and vehicle application must match too. Send the existing attachment details if uncertain.
FAQ: Which cloth prevents streaks?
There is no fabric that fixes dirty cleaner or grit. Work with a clean damp face, then a separate dry smooth or polishing face. Avoid fabric softener residue and over-saturating the glass.
FAQ: Is this an installation service?
No. We sell blades and cloths only. If safe attachment is uncertain, consult a suitable vehicle professional.
